As a Lecturer and Program Director in Neurology Nursing Dr. Claire Behan's PhD - funded by FutureNeuro - focused on researching biomarkers for seizures and epilepsy. Claire is passionate about advancing clinical knowledge and improving outcomes in neurological care. With a background as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Prescriber, she brings hands-on experience from acute clinical settings and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.

Claire has a proven track record in clinical research, medical education, and patient safety. Her academic and clinical journey is supported by a Master’s in Nursing and Advanced Practice, Certificate in Nurse Prescribing, and PgDip Intensive Care from the RCSI University and Trinity College Dublin, deepening her expertise.

Claire is driven by curiosity, committed to education, and focused on bridging the gap between research and real-world practice in healthcare.
