Bio

Dr. Florien Boele is an academic with a keen interest in family caregiving, quality of life, and symptom management. Most of her research to date has focused on people with brain tumours, but she is now broadening the scope to include other groups of people who are confronted with epilepsies. She aims to better understand the experiences of unpaid carers and to ensure their needs are recognised in both clinical practice and research.
