  • Stéphane Auvin, MD, Ph.D., is a Child Neurologist & Epileptologist at Hôpital Universitaire Robert-Debré, Université de Paris, France, Full professor at Robert Debré University Hospital & Paris-Diderot University, Paris, France. He conducts the Epilepsy program and the center for rare epilepsies at Robert Debré University Hospital, APHP, Paris. Stéphane also conducts experimental research works in the INSERM U1141, Paris.

    Stéphane is the coordinator of the éPiRaReS consortium (three Parisian epilepsy centres) and a full, active member of the ERN EpiCARE.

    Stéphane’s clinical and research activities are focused on peadiatric epilepsy and its treatments. His research team is working on inflammation-epilepsy, on the ketogenic diet, and Anti-Seizure Medications (ASMs) in the developing brain. The Epilepsy programme at Robert Debré Children's Hospital, Paris, is involved in ASM development and clinical trials (PK, Phase II, Phase III, and Phase IV). Stéphane is an author of more than 200 peer-reviewed papers or book chapters and has been a consultant to more than 20 companies re ASM drug development and clinical trial design.
