  • Christoph Beier is a neurologist, epileptologist, and professor at the Odense University Hospital. The hospital serves epilepsy patients from the region of Southern Denmark and the epilepsy clinics aims to provide comprehensive, fast, and effective epilepsy care. He helps adults with epilepsy and other neurological conditions with a special interest in the care of patients with acute seizures - especially status epilepticus.

Christoph leads the epilepsy research Group aiming to improve the treatment of the most severely affected patients with difficult-to-treat generalised epilepsies and status epilepticus. The focus of his current research is to adapt preexisting treatment options for each individual patient. The ultimate goal is to accelerate treatment and achieve seizure freedom faster, with fewer seizures and ASM side effects.
